The editor
Every video opens on a timeline you can change shot by shot before you export it.
Open a video from Projects, or press Open editor when it’s ready. Every change saves as you go.
The layout
- Preview in the middle. Click a clip in it to select it.
- Timeline along the bottom: voiceover, footage, graphics, captions and music, each on its own track.
- Panels on the left. The selected clip’s settings open beside the preview.

| Assets | Swap footage, add your uploads. See Swap footage. |
| Captions | Show, style and place captions. See Voice, music and captions. |
| Graphics | Add graphics, change their style, draw them again. See Graphics. |
| Audio | Background music, its mood, sections and volume. |
| Filters | A colour look for the selected clip, or Apply to all. |
| Effects | An effect at the playhead, or Apply to all. |
| Transitions | The cut between two clips. |
| Project settings | A finish for the whole video, like a vignette. |
Clip tools
Select a footage clip to Crop, Scale or Rotate it, set its Motion for photos, or draw a blur box over a logo or watermark with Add blur.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? anywhere in the app for the full list. On a Mac, use ⌘ where this table says Ctrl.
